Adobe Reader has a search feature which can help you locate items in Residential Cost Explorer (RCE). Press the Search icon or go to Edit-Search. Then type in the word or phrase you're looking for - try the word "cement fiber". Press Search. When the Results window begins to display items, click on one to view it.

You can copy and paste text from the RCE to your narrative report. Just use the Select Text tool, highlight your text, right-click once, choose copy, then right-click in your narrative and click paste.
